De locatie is super, alles op loopafstand in het dorp! De cottage zelf is zeer stijlvol en gezellig ingericht! Check-in verliep soepel. We hebben een hele productieve en fijne tijd gehad op Saba.

Everything was wonderful! The location was close to everything from restaurants to hiking trails. The cottage was lovely and decorated with things collected throughout the owners adventures through the world. Truly one of a kind!

I really enjoyed staying at Pete's Cottage for it's peaceful vibe and very comfortable layout. The guests created a nest for visitors to relax and stay for both short and longer stays. I enjoyed the books about cooking the most!

“Pete's Cottage was a great find in Windwardside. We definitely recommend both it and our hosts.”
Although we never met the hosts face-to-face, they were very responsive to emails and their local contact person (Lieke) was very easy to contact and interact with, and quite charming. The cottage is a very short walk away from markets, a bakery, restaurants and museums--and yet fairly quiet. The cottage is beautiful, roomy and well kept-up, and the beds were very comfortable.

We hebben 3 heerlijke dagen gehad in Pete's cottage! Het ontvangst van Lieke was hartelijk en we voelden ons meteen thuis in het prachtige huisje waar het ons aan niets ontbrak. Saba zelf was prachtig, we hadden graag langer willen blijven!

What an amazing place! Pete's Cottage is cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved sitting out at the front watching the world go by and being greeted by everyone. Within a couple of days all the local people knew us as the English ladies staying at Pete's cottage! It's in a great location tucked under Mount Scenery and near the centre the village with a varied selection of eating places and a couple of grocery stores.
A beautiful traditional cottage which is well equipped and very comfortable. We loved it. Thanks Debbie and Terri

Amazing amazing amazing, the cottage was perfect for 2. Petes cottage is an excellent place for a couple or a family of 4. Location was a short walk to trails, shops, restaurants, museums, craft shops and markets. The owners Debbie and Terri are fabulous to work with and have decorated the cottage beautifully. From the airport it's a short 10 minute taxi ride winding through the country side. Dive shop is a short walk from the cottage. The cottage is a 5+ for accommodations. Het huisje ligt zeer centraal in Windwardside. Het is schoon, volledig ingericht en zeer goed te gebruiken voor zowel een zakelijk alsmede een vakantieverblijf. De foto's op de site zijn zoals het is. Het contact vooraf met de verhuurders verliep zeer goed. Dit geldt ook voor het ontvangst ter plekke. De omgeving is rustig en alles wat aan winkels, restaurants nodig is is lopend te bereiken.

Beste Debbie / Terri. Wat een geweldig huisje. Dank je wel dat we er hebben mogen verblijven. Het ontvangst door Lieke was erg plezierig. Het huis is schoon en volledig ingericht. We hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad op Saba.

Pete's cottage is undeniably the most beautiful space I have had the pleasure in renting on airbnb. The decor, the architecture, the light, and such small attention to detail made our stay magical. We were received with warmth and generosity, and the location of the cottage permitted us to understand and enjoy the sense of community on Saba. The hiking trails and dive shop are just around the corner, as are both upscale and local restaurants. A must is to take advantage of a great happy hour opportunity at Tropics, a cool, pool side bar, tucked away from the main street - perfect for a post dive drink! Despite their own busy schedule, Debbie and Terri bent over backwards to accommodate our last minute, special request of lobster for my girl friends birthday at Brigadoons. We are very grateful! As a chef, I loved that there were fresh herbs growing in the garden, at our disposition, and an avocado tree. Thank you Debbie and Terri for a wonderful stay on Saba!

I absolutely loved everything about this place, it's much more spacious than the pictures show and had everything we needed for our stay. Nice touches on the interior design. It is really centrally located in Windward, with a beautiful view of mount scenery and with all the stores, restaurants and the Mount Scenery hiking trail on walking distance. We had a rental car to give us the freedom to travel about, but you could really do without if you stay at Pete's Cottage. Communication with Debbie /Terri and our host Lieke went perfect, quick to respond on any questions we had. Pete's cottage really gave me a taste of what it's like to live on Saba.

Pete's Cottage was an excellent choice for us. It is in the middle of the village Windwardside, in easy walking distance to restaurants, our dive shop, grocery stores, tourist office, and trails. The place is beautifully and artistically decorated. We loved the walk-in closet and very good mattress on the queen bed. Having a kitchen is a plus so that we can make a quick breakfast before diving or choose to eat in for lunch or dinner. Of course, I wouldn't have missed the excellent restaurants in the village. The dining room table was just the right size for us to set up computers and on which to eat our meals. I spent lots of time reading on the dining room bench as well as in the beautiful living room. There is an extra room with half bed for napping alone. The cottage is much more spacious than the pictures show. We were so comfortable there, with the whimsical decorating style, comfortable seating, comfortable bed, and space to stretch out. We loved Debbie and Terri's cottage and hope to return some day to dive precious Saba again.

Debbie and Terri were excellent hosts. Communication between owner and renter was prompt and easy. We loved Pete's Cottage!

We really had a good time. Juliette met Lieke on Thursday and the rest of the group on Saturday am at Buzzy Bees. Really nice lady.
We were impressed with the cottage, made up our own story how Saba life would have been so many odd years ago.

A perfect location in Windwardside. A historical cottage but in beautiful condition, in fact looks newly renovated, providing for all your basic needs. Terri and Debbie are happy to assist in making your stay as comfortable as possible and even arranged our taxi for us, their caretaker, Mieke, was also extremely pleasant and helpful. Had a great couple of days and would recommend this cottage.

We had a really wonderful stay at Debbie & Terri's beautiful historic cottage. Known to all the locals as Pete's Cottage. Staying in a place like this makes you feel special and part of the community. We even had a few very nice talks with locals passing by. Inside the cottage you will find a very relaxed and open atmosphere with good beds, nice shower, a good basic kitchen and a luggage/dressing room. Upon arrival the house and beds were decorated with a few freshly picked wild flowers. We loved this little gesture of welcome. All you need you will find within walking distance. The communication with Debbie was the best and nicest I have experienced so far!
The historic place was to us a unique selling point. And did we love it! The cottage disappointed in no way. We loved the simple, open and relaxing atmosphere.
So we really can recommend Pete's Cottage to everybody who wants to stay on Saba!

Pete's Cottage is quite charming. It's like a step back in time with the unique woodwork and architecture. We enjoyed our stay very much. Mieka the caretaker was very accommodating and kind. Everyone we encountered on the island was so friendly! I would go back in a heartbeat. We also enjoyed the great bottle of wine left for us in the refrigerator.

We had such a nice time at Pete's cottage. It was a quiet and private cottage where we had everything we needed to "get away from it all". Everything was tidy and clean and we were so well looked after. There are restaurants and supermarkets about a block away. Everything you could possibly need or want. Can't wait to go back!

Debbie and Terry, thanks so much for letting us stay in your precious cottage. We were in Saba for the opening of the Heritage Center and it was the perfect place to be staying. The location is ideal and your caretaker, Mieke, was there just as promised and took wonderful care of us. It made our short stay fell really relaxed and special.
